The Chop Houses have National Gin Day covered with their bespoke menu of aptly named ‘Blooming British’ cocktails. As part of D&D’s Blossom City, the cocktails have been curated in partnership with Williams Gin, and include seasonal delights such as the Summer Garden (Williams pink grapefruit gin, lavender, lemon & soda), the Honey Bee (Williams GB gin, Kamm & Sons, honey & lemon) and the Columbia Road (Williams GB gin, Chase elderflower liqueur, rose, lime & cucumber). Available at Paternoster, South Place and Butlers Wharf Chop Houses until the end of June. All priced at £9.50.

Tom’s Kitchen and Fever-Tree to offer series of refreshing gin and tonics this summer

This summer, Tom’s Kitchen have partnered with the premium British tonic brand, Fever-Tree, to create a bespoke list of refreshing gin and tonics, perfect for the warmer months. Guests will be able to enjoy classic flavours such as Hendrick’s Gin with Fever-Tree Elderflower garnished with cucumber ribbons (£10.50), as well as more unusual combinations including Bombay Sapphire with Fever-Tree Mediterranean, thyme and lemon (£9.50), and Bloom Gin with Fever-Tree Elderflower, strawberry and cracked black pepper (£11.50). This exclusive list of gin and tonics will be available from the Tom’s Kitchen restaurants in Chelsea, St Katharine Docks and Canary Wharf throughout June, July, and August, offering the perfect refreshing tipple to be enjoyed alongside the delicious seasonal British dishes on the Tom’s Kitchen summer menus.

Bottomless G&T brunch at Skylon

To celebrate Gin Day, Skylon has launched the ‘Skytonic’ alterntive G&T menu, in collaboration with Fever Tree. All month long, guests can enjoy a range of drinks created by pairing Fever-Tree tonics with British spirits, with UK-grown herbs, fruits and floral infusions enhancing the unique flavour profile of each. In addition, the iconic riverside restaurant will host a bottomless G&T jazz brunch in partnership with Tanqueray & Fever-Tree on World Gin Day, 10th June.

Gin Blush at Blanchette Soho and Blanchette Brick Lane

This tall glass of Mediterranean summer is served at both Blanchette Brick Lane and Soho, providing a cool blend of gin, raspberry and tonic for £10. The Gin Blush mixes 50ml of Tanqueray gin and 10ml of raspberry syrup with Mediterranean tonic water and fresh raspberries, garnished with a slice of lime.

Pollen Street Social’s destination gin bar

This World Gin Day, the gin bar at Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social will be celebrating the only vapour- infused London Dry gin, Bombay Sapphire. Nominated as the Michelin-starred establishment’s choice of gin for the month of June, the high-quality spirit will be mixed with tonic for a refreshing G&T, or shaken with vermouth to create a Star of Bombay Martini. As a toast to World Gin Day, guests at Jason Atherton’s 7 Tales bar, located below izakaya-style Japanese restaurant, Sosharu, can enjoy Turnmills Rice Wine an inventive blend of Beefeater gin washed in rice, Cocchi Americano and sesame, for a gin-based cocktail with a Japanese twist.

Float like a Peach at The Blind Pig

At Jason Atherton’s flagship bar, The Blind Pig, guests can explore a menu of creative serves from the ‘Long and Short Great British Tails’ menu. Each element, from the name of the cocktail to the individual ingredients, is linked to a classic piece of British literature. Dedicated to Roald Dahl’s beloved James and the Giant Peach, Float like a Peach blends Tanqueray 10 gin with Rinquinquin peach wine, hibiscus, olive oil and egg white and is topped with sparkling poire. Served in a flute, the cocktail also features a tribute to James’s sidekick, Earthworm, with a garnish of a jelly worm sweet, offering a nostalgic Gin Day tipple.

Flower Hour at Aster

As part of the group-wide D&D London #BlossomCity campaign, newly-opened restaurant Aster in Victoria will be offering a special ‘Flower Hour’ menu, featuring a selection of unique floral cocktails. To celebrate World Gin Day guests can opt for the complex Elderflower Mint & Matcha tipple featuring gin and limoncello mixed with elderflower syrup and matcha tea syrup, apple juice, cucumber and mint or a light and floral Rose Soda, which combines rosebud-infused gin and rose petal syrup with lime juice, egg white and soda water. Available for £6.50 during Flower Hour, each cocktail offers a unique toast to World Gin Day.

Housed in the iconic grade II* listed Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, The Rotunda Bar offers a vibrant yet luxurious destination to celebrate World Gin Day. Guests can enjoy the light and floral Forget Me Not cocktail which blends Plymouth gin, sparkling wine and Earl Grey tea with coriander seed and orange flower to create a delicate undertone of spice and citrus to complement the versatile spirit.

With flowery notes of Lillet Blanc Vermouth and bitter Suze Liqueur mixed with Tanqueray Gin, the White Negroni is a perfect way to begin World Gin Day celebrations.

Lemon-infused gin mixes at Cantina del Ponte

For a super-zesty sip with a real kick, Cantina del Ponte on the South Bank has a whole menu of options this summer. The Thames-side Italian has teamed up with Soho-based limoncello experts Pococello for its terrace menu, a range which includes the Sunshine Spritz (Pococello, gin, lemon juice and Prosecco) and the South Coast (Pococello, gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and mint), for £8.50 each.

Celebrate National Gin Day in the glamourous new bar at Coq d’Argent

Coq d’Argent, the much-loved rooftop restaurant in The City, has recently unveiled a glamorous new bar refurbishment. Both the design and the cocktail list have been inspired by 1920s Paris, with creations such as the Parisienne providing the perfect excuse to celebrate World Gin Day, with a combination of Hendrick’s Gin, St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, white grapes, lemon juice, and egg white, topped with soda and finished with a dash of absinthe.
